RARE Carroll Shelby Collectable up for sale!

First Time Offering, One of a Kind Shelby Collection

Carroll Sheldy Collectable cobraWe are selling a one of kind Carroll Shelby collection.  CDC has obtained a special piece of Carroll Shelby history and will be auctioning the item off on EBay.  Up for grabs is an ultra-rare piece of Shelby art, a Cobra statue that was commissioned by Robert Peterson for sport car legend Carroll Shelby’s surprise 65th Birthday party. The party was held by Road & Track Magazine at the Westin in Detroit Michigan.  This statue has been in a private collection since this milestone event in 1988 and never been offered up for sale.  No Carroll Shelby collection would be complete without this iconic piece of history.

The statue will be auctioned off with other Shelby items that commemorate the event and include:

·         Road & Track Invitation to event with RSVP, Signed by Carroll Shelby!

·         Snake Center Piece Candle from Carroll’s table

·         Place Cards from Carroll’s table (Carroll Shelby, Peter Brock, Zora Duntov)

·         Copy of Auto Week-January 18,1988 “Happy Birthday Mr. Shelby”

·         Copy of Road & Track May 1988 “Happy Birthday Dear Carroll”

·         Pristine Clipping for the Detroit News, covering the event and picturing Carroll Shelby petting the “Cobra Statue”

If you’re a true Shelby collector this is the piece to make your collection complete.  The two piece fiberglass statue itself stands 58.5” tall and 32” wide has glowing gold eyes and shimmering paint, making a bold statement like the cars Carroll designed!  Don’t miss out; head over to Classic Design Concepts EBay listing, for your chance to own this 1 of 1 Shelby collection!
